"Jess Trudeau embraces letting the beauty you love be what you do! She first began teaching yoga in remote villages in Mongolia and was amazed at yoga's universal ability to inspire and heal. She enjoys guiding her students toward a celebration of the heart, an awareness of the intuitive body, and a deep sense of belonging. She embodies the belief that until we give adequately to ourselves, shining light into our own souls, can we find the wealth of energy to give with true intention. With that concept in mind, Jess's classes are full of playfulness, optimism, forgiveness, empowerment, and humor; reminding her students that anytime we link the mind, body, and soul and give selflessly with intention, on and off the mat, we are practicing yoga."
Jess is in New York!
Come and participate in a multi-level yoga class that has something for everyone. Join me as you challenge yourself to find your edges & explore with creativity and grace, the limitlessness of your body. Invite playfulness & exploration and develop your own personal yoga practice. My roots are in Iyengar Yoga with strong influences in Vinyasa Flow, Anusara, and Power Yoga. I believe that yoga, like art, is a creative expression that can lead into new realms of being, seeing, and experiencing. I find bliss in spreading my passion and feel gifted to be able to share such an empowering, joyous gift with others. My hope is that my students will take what they've learned on the mat and take that sense of being, out into the world, spreading light & intention into the lives of others.
History: I have been teaching yoga for 5 years and practicing for 10. I first began teaching yoga while in the Peace Corps in Mongolia to young women and children, inviting them to find courage in expressing themselves and gaining new knowledge & power within. I pursued my 200 hour Yoga Alliance Certification from Heartwood Institute in Garberville, California and 500 hour from Yogaworks NYC. I have taught Vinyasa Flow, Restorative, and Partner Yoga classes in a variety of locations including northern California, Dominica, Bali, Nicaragua, and New York City.

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to manifest the glory of God within us. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
